A lesser-known yet important piece of L.A. modern architectural heritage is newly available for sale. John Lautner’s own two-bedroom, two-bathroom house, which the architect designed and completed in 1940, is located near Lautner’s iconic Silvertop house on Micheltorena Street. Ilana Gafni of Crosby Doe Associates has the $1.59 million listing of the Silver Lake property, which is included on the National Register of Historic Places.
