About Barry Dane

Meet Barry, a realtor with a diverse background that sets him apart in the real estate world. Barry’s journey began in 1976 when he graduated high school and ventured into the world of transportation, operating an 18-wheeler hauling steel across the Midwest and later citrus from Florida to Canada.

In 1978, Barry took a different path and joined the Air Force, where he served honorably. After his discharge, he pursued higher education, studying accounting and marketing at the University of Cincinnati. During his time there, he actively participated in the Veterans Club and chaired the Campus Concert Committee, showcasing his leadership skills and passion for organizing events.

Barry’s career in the live concert touring industry took off during his sophomore year at UC when he joined Manticore Sound & Lights. His expertise led him to work on prominent tours, including Prince’s “Purple Rain Tour,” Luther Vandross’ “Night I fell in Love Tour,” and Motley Crue’s “Theatre of Pain Tour.” In 1984, he made a significant move to Los Angeles and became the owner and CEO of Chicago-based db Sound. Over the years, Barry’s dedication and talent helped db Sound grow into one of the largest concert/event sound & production companies globally. His work with renowned artists such as The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Metallica, and Prince solidified his reputation in the industry.

In 2004, Barry decided to shift gears and explore his passion for real estate. Since obtaining his real estate license in 2007, he has thrived in the field, exceeding his own expectations and bringing his unique blend of skills and professionalism to the real estate market. His extensive experience in organizing events and working with diverse clientele has honed his communication and negotiation abilities, making him a trusted advisor for his clients.

Apart from his real estate endeavors, Barry is deeply committed to social causes. He collaborates with Jack Healey at the Human Rights Action Center, advocating for human rights globally. Additionally, Barry supports the K9 Youth Alliance, demonstrating his dedication to both community and animal welfare.
