M. Arthur Kotch, Architect

Houston, Texas

The Reba House was designed by M. Arthur Kotch in 1960 for Lucia and Gordon Cain (Founder Cain Chemical). (Original Kotch Architectural plans are available). The home was sold to the current owner who worked with Gordon Cain at Petro-Tex Chemical Corporation in 1965, in a private transaction when Gordon was transferred to New York City. The home has been meticulously maintained by only the second and current owner, retaining all of its original MidCentury Modern features and has never been on the market.
